30 Days Posts Finale

Today is May 31st. It is the end of my 30 days posts month. It is true that I didn't 30 posts this month, but 23 isn't bad.

To say the truth, my goal wasn't to write exactly 30 posts. My goal was the concept of making writing part of my life, hopefully it'll become a habit at last.

After this month, I think writing is filling a little bigger part in my life than before. Now, whenever something irritates me, I think about writing about it. Of course not everything comes out in a post, but I always let it out.

I wrote about different things; politics, poetry, books, TV shows, movies and personal talks. When I look closer to these posts, I see my last month reflected in these posts.

Thank you all for following me this month. Thanks for all your nice and encouragement comments.

Eventually, I think I enjoyed this experiment, and got benefits from. May be I will repeat it later with 15 days posts.

The Oprah Winfrey Show Finale

Oprah Winfrey's show ended after 25 years, 4561 episodes and more than 30,000 guests.

Oprah is one of the most amazing woman in the past 50 years. She is educated, cultured, respectful and wolrd-caring person. She is a person who earned her position only by culturing herself and hard working. She is now considered the third-most-powerful women in the world now.

Oprah's finale was as amazing as all other 4561 episodes. I loved each part of it.
For me, she pointed out 3 amazing things.

First, you don't need a stage or a television show to live your best life. Consider your stage is your position in life, no matter where you are. Consider your audience is people around you, your family or even yourself. Only by love and care that you share with them, you can live happily.

Second, you are your own's life boss. Whoever you are and wherever you are, you can reach whatever you set your mind to. The main obstacle we all face and share is under self-estimation. I almost quote from her: "We all think that we deserve happiness, but not all of us think we WORTH happiness".

Third, we all sense the presence of Allah in our life. We all hear him whisper in our ears. May be you will listen to him, ignore him or deny him , but we all hear him.

I have been watching Oprah for about 10 years now. I shared so many laughs, tears and joy with her. I learned so many from her show. I can't forget Dr. Oz episodes.
Oprah's show showed me that there are other people out there fighting life in their own way. I was down so many times, and by chance, she was airing an episode that helped me to raise my spirit.

I wish I can influence people as positive as she did.

أي شخص متابع لمدونتي يعرف إعجابي الشديد بهذا الكتاب. علي الرغم من إعتراضي علي إستخدام اللهجة المصرية في بعض أجزاء الأشعار و لكن المعاني التي تضمنتها أخفي تأثيرها بالنسبة لي علي الأقل.

In Your Memory

This month remarks the 14th memory of my grandmother's death.

Even that she died when I was a little girl, she is one of people who affected me the most. She was an amazing person, you can't know her without loving her. She was kind and smart.

Although she was treated ungratefully and unfairly by many people, but she was always fair to everybody. It was good to know that everyone appreciated what she had done, even that happened after her death.

I shared her the last few months of her life. She had a late stage cancer and all our family moved in with her since we knew her case.

The only thing I regret is me not crying over her. I was in the same room with her at the last moments, and she died so quietly that we all though she was just asleep. I remember everyone crying deeply over her, and I only dropped few tears out of sympathy for other. Of course I felt sad back then, but I didn't cry out of my sadness. Maybe because I didn't really understand what it meant for her to die.

Now, I wish I can tell her how great she was, how much I miss her, and how much I love her.

RIP grandma, You will always be in my prayers.

The Winner Stands Alone - Paulo Coelho

The Winner Stands Alone is a novel by Paulo Coelho first published in 2008. The book was first published in Portuguese under the title O Vencedor está Só. It is the thirteenth major book by the Coelho. The book is roughly based upon the growing rise of what the author calls "The Superclass".

My Review:

It's my first book to read for Paulo Coelho, so I can't tell how it is different from his previous books as most people say.

Of course anyone is going to love Paulo's writings. His description of Cannes is magnificent. You'll feel as if you are inside of it. It discuss how far limits may cross, how much they may sacrifice to get to their goals.

For a person like me , who believes in punishment, a serial killer getting away on his private jet seems pretty hard to accept.

After all, it is a good book to read, especially if you are a Paulo's fan.
